Registration and Migration

College hours

Classes are held as per rule and duration of each class as set out by the department.

College office hours: 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
The Office of the College remains open six days a week from Monday to Saturday.

Class Timing: 8.00 am. to 2.30 pm. from Tuesday to Saturday.

Cultural Committee

Committee in charge of conducting cultural events like Annual Sports, Supreme Court Visit, Social Welfare Events & Yearly Convocation in college and in charge of selecting the university teams for cultural events.

Law and Technology

We have in mind to develop a fully digital law school in future comprising e-governing teaching style under audio visual guidance of eminent professors and with well equipped e-journal library

Registration and Migration

The selected students of 3 year LL.B. Degree Course have to complete their admission before 12 working days from the last date announced by Vidyasagar University.

Students who come from Universities other than Vidyasagar University, will be provisionally admitted. After admission they shall apply through the Principal within one month from the date of admission to the Vidyasagar University with original Migration Certificate for Registration with the following documents:

  • Admit Card & Marksheet of Madhyamik Examination,
  • Marksheet of Higher Secondary Exam,
  • Marksheet of Graduation,
  • Original Copy of Migration
    Certificate.(may be allowed later on),
  • Six copies of recent passport size photograph,
  • Payment in Cash / Cheque / DD. mode vel est ac suscipit. Pellentesque imperdiet ultricies interdum. 

The College will not be held responsible if the concerned University does not sanction migration to such candidate and / or Vidyasagar University refuses to issue Registration Certificate to any candidate. In such cases provisional admission given at this College may be cancelled and no refund of fees will be made in normal case for eligible candidate.

The students appeared/appearing in the Degree Examination in the current year may also apply for Provisional Admission with Special Permission of the Director / Principal of the College. They may be given Provisional Admission on fulfillment of required formalities. Provisional Admission will be treated as cancelled if the candidate failed to obtain qualifying marks at the last public examination. Refund of fees may be made on cancellation of Provisional Admission after deduction of Prospectus Charge.

Identity Card

Identity card will be issued at the College Office, free of cost, and the students are required to collect their Identity cards within 15 days from the commencement of class for each session.

The students must keep Identity cards with them. A student will
have to show identity card to the college staff on demand for verification, as and when required. During class hours each student must put on the identity card, so that it is distinctly visible

Identity card must be kept carefully in the custody of the student. Identity card thus kept carefully in the custody of the
student is not transferable. In case the Identity card is lost / stolen, the matter must be immediately reported to the nearest Police Station.

Duplicate Identity card may be issued in such cases on application for the same with a copy of the GD and payment of
Rupees Fifty only.

College Uniform

The students will have to wear prescribed uniform as stated below:

For both Male & Female students : White Shirt, Black Trouser, Black Tie, Black Coat or Sweater, Black Shoes.

For Female students : White Saree with navy blue border or White Salwar Kameez with Black Dupatta and Black Coat or Black Cardigan.

Students are permitted to enter into the college campus being properly clad on with prescribed uniform. Violation of this rule may be treated as act of indiscipline.

Formal Dress Code during internship: Students placed under internship or in moot court exercise shall have formal dress of legal professional in pupilage as follows: (For all)

White/Black trouser, white shirt, black tie, black coat, black shoe and black socks.

When students have problems of getting the entire formal dress for any reason, they have to have a white trouser, full
sleeve shirt to be tucked in and covered shoe. (Optional for Girl students) Black printed saree, with white full sleeve blouse and covered black shoe or Lawyer’s Suit with black covered shoe.

The Organization or Advocate under whom the internee is placed is required to follow suitable dress code.
