Role Description of Assistant Accountant
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Rajpur Sonarpur. The Senior Accountant will handle all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reports, ledger entries, audits, and budget preparation. They will also ensure compliance with accounting principles and guidelines, and provide support to other teams in the organization.
Qualifications for Assistant Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and procedures
- Experience with accounting software, and proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment
- Professional certification, such as TALLY or AM is a plus
